Win a seat to the WSOP from Pacific Poker

888.com's online poker room Pacific Poker is buying one player a seat to the 2006 World Series of Poker Tournament in Las Vegas. Every Saturday at 16:00 PPT, players can compete in a weekly tournament to qualify for the WSOP seat. PPT stands for Pacific Poker Time and can be found online at the Pacific Poker website. To enter the tournament, log into the Pacific Poker client and register by clicking on the WSOP button. The buy-in fee for the weekly tournament is $135. Players can win seats to the weekly tournaments by entering the smaller satellite tournaments during the week. Players must be 21 years of age by the start of the 2006 WSOP to qualify for a seat. Mike Herea, promotions department manager for 888.com, reminded everyone that an online poker player won the prestigious World Series of Poker in 2005. "Who knows, maybe this year an online poker player from Pacific Poker will win the final table in Las Vegas," Herea said. "In any case, just winning the seat will give the player the experience of a lifetime."
