Swellnet signs on soush to ride next wave
Gold Coast... Swellnet's content rich surf and weather reports
and forecasts--including images, graphs, videos and text--inform
more than 130,000 surf subscribers. Swellnet has consistently
ranked in the top three water sport websites for the last ten
months (source: Hitwise), and enjoys excellent cross promotion
through national radio and newspaper coverage.
Surf brands have experienced amazing growth in areas as varied
as surf and ski gear, general clothing, jewellery and media.
That growth is continuing, and a big slice of it will be on the
Internet. According to Ben Matson, Swellnet's CEO, the Internet
is the perfect vehicle for information businesses like Swellnet
and the potential is still largely untapped.

About Swellnet
Swellnet is run by Ben Matson, a South Australian who relocated
to the Gold Coast in 2003. Ben completed an Earth Science degree
at Flinders University in 2001 and worked as a Research
Scientist before expanding Swellnet's forecasting services
around the country. The imminent launch of Swellnet's new
website will herald a fresh approach to the delivery of
