The belief system
The belief system is there to show the possibility that there is
something great out there, whether it is the Great Spirit, Godly
forces, Goddess of energy or unconditional love of the highest
power.
Your own personal religion or beliefs are whatever you want them
to be.
They will be powerful enough to insure that everything that
unfolds has a reason and that there are no accidents, no
coincidences and no mistakes. In other words, everything happens
for a reason.
Spirituality is about relationships. The relationship one has
with ones-self, to others, to the environment and to life in
general. A spiritual belief is simply a container for holding
all other relationships, so why not make your container big
enough to hold all.
Throughout my spiritual growth and understanding I have found
that I needed to make my spiritual container big enough to allow
for the possibility that I am not a flawed, shameful being and I
will search until I found some logical, rational means to
explain life in a way that helps me teach others to let go of
negative ways, so that everyone can show love to themselves and
to others around them.
For me it becomes a simple choice, either there is a higher
purpose to life or there is not. If there is not, I do not want
to play any more. Therefore, because of my counselling and my
psychic ability, I believe there is a choice and it gives me a
spiritual purpose and meaning to life. By me choosing to believe
in a love that is for all, has transformed my life. It has
adventures that are exciting and joyous much of the time.
The bottom line for me is that it works for me; it is functional
for me to believe that there is a purpose to life and you could
have the same if you want it.
We are all spiritual beings having human experiences we are hear
to learn and to go through the process of life. Life is not a
test and if you fail, you only do so in your eyes and the only
way you are punished is by punishing yourself.
My own personal spiritual belief system is one form of
spirituality and is certainly not the only one. Mine works well
for me in helping me to understand and to help others throughout
my daily life
If you think of things as a spiritual journey, you can start
here with me now on our own spiritual journey.
Some people are born and then die, they never move away from
pain, never stop struggling, never understand their life and
they never understand that their spiritual journey is their
responsibility, their creation be it conscious or sub-conscious.
I know I keep going on about inner strength, but I feel this is
very important. The first thing we need to do on a spiritual
journey is to understand we need to be responsible for the
choices we make as well as the ones we don't make, "the if
only`s".
If we want to be happy and stay happy then with each and every
experience that comes into our life, we need to choose it for
our growth if we choose to stay as the victim then that is what
we will be "a victim".
The key for us to stay spiritually aware is to stay open to the
situations and experiences that come along, making the conscious
decision to search for the answers, because we know that it is
the only way we will be released from the pain, listening to
those answers. Those insights and putting them into practice
even though we know they will use more energy than staying where
we are.
Let us look at some of the struggles we experience in life. They
include people, family relationships, work, us, morality, heavy
traffic, health, and our moods, trying to live up to ours and
other peoples standards - the list goes on and on. When we are
living our everyday lives, some of our struggles will not block
the energy because we make decisions and move through them. All
we need to do is acknowledge that we are struggling.
Now let us look at our experiences there will be a situation, an
experience that happens or something that keeps happening. We
may feel trapped in a never-ending cycle, there does not seem to
be an answer and we keep going nowhere. This is the time when we
have an opportunity to search or find a new way of looking at a
situation.
We all have insight and this can be seen as a light at the end
of the tunnel. You can see that there is another way of dealing
with the situation. Sometimes we revert to our old pattern or we
make a conscious choice to put into practice just what we have
realised. This decision is what shifts the energy and allows us
to grow.
Spiritual awareness is in each of us and helps us to follow our
divine plan just how much we enjoy the journey depends on
whether we use and practice the insights that we gain along our
spiritual journey. Remember with each and every struggle and
experience, we have the opportunity to grow.
There is no short cut. You have to have a belief system in place
to even start on this path. Once you understand yourself, you
will understand others. Once you have done this you will start
to communicate on another level, the sub-conscious level. In a
way, it is a form of telepathy.
As our senses of sight and hearing pass information down to our
sub-conscious mind, it filters out the messages being
transmitted from the sub-conscious mind of any person we are
communicating with. The sub-conscious communication is one of
the main ways of conditioning our mind. This can mean we can
often say one thing that implies a certain proposition while our
bodies are sending out sub-conscious messages, which mean quite
the opposite.
When I have held meditation classes for experienced mediators,
it is not unusual for many of them to have exactly the same
meditation. This is because they are all on the same level of
sub-conscious thought.
Meditation involves the sub-conscious part of each of us so that
we may not experience anything, but information is being sent to
our inner spirit and us.
You can learn a lot more about meditation and your inner self
through my book understanding your psychic ability.
Try to think about things this way. We all share this world, our
actions, our thoughts, our promise, our life is important to
everyone here, now and in the future. When we smile at the
world, we are helping and when we are good, we grow. So why not
make a conscious choice to become who you want to become. The
only difference is, you will then, at least become aware of what
effects your actions and you will be able to make your action
count because it is your choice.
