What are Certified Vehicles?
Many automakers are making their used cars more attractive by
having the lower-mileage, late-model, mostly off lease vehicles
available for inspection by their dealership's services
department. The dealers inspect the cars based on a preset check
list and offer some kind of warranty to ensure the quality of
the cars. The cars are then sold at a higher price than
non-certified used cars.
Not all automakers offer certified used cars. The largest seller
of certified used vehicles is Toyota.
