Hey! Want to Know How to Get Your Kids off the Couch and into
the Garden?
Is it just me, or do kids these days not seem to do anything but
sit around watching TV and playing computer games? Now don't get
me wrong, I'm not saying we should go back to the Dark Ages, but
a bit of exercise wouldn't hurt, in fact it would actually be
good for them.
I know you're probably getting a bit fed up of everyone telling
you that your kids should be playing actively out in the fresh
air and having fun and socialising with friends, rather than
spending their lives cooped up indoors, but it's a very serious
issue and there's just no escaping it. As a nation, our children
are becoming more overweight and unhealthy and we need to do
something about it, and fast.
OK, so you worry about the kids when they're out of the house,
what parent wouldn't? But you can easily keep them close by and
let them play safely outside in your own garden.
Easier said than done, I know, trying to prise them away from
their beloved TV or computer screens and into the great outdoors
- you just need to find that something that will encourage them.
Now I'm no expert, but the perfect solution to your problems

own garden. It's amazing what a difference a climbing frame and
a couple of swings can make, and there are so many different
climbing frames and play activities to choose from. Kids will
enjoy playing out in the garden, giving them the encouragement
and persuasion to lead a more active and healthier lifestyle
without them even realising it.
I know you're probably thinking that this might be a costly
solution, but that's not necessarily the case, and it's one
that's well worth considering. It's possible to buy a good
quality, long lasting and safe swing set from as little as
