I Don't Have The Time

If you think that you just "don't have the time" to start building an online business, you may just be right!

Yes, you WILL not have "the time" in a week, either ... nor in a month... nor in a year...

And in 10 years, you will STILL be yawning for the lifestyle you always wanted or even worse, scrambling and only two pay checks away from disaster.

And do you know what?...

You STILL won't have the time. Because, you choose to not have the time.

You choose to watch others build not one but multiple streams of income while dreaming of "one of these days!"

Actually, there is ALWAYS enough time. It is just a question of priority. It is a matter of which is more important to you.

It is a matter of saying NO to TV, fun & games while the new business is being developed.

If you prioritize an hour a week, yes -- just one hour per week, to build your business, you will be amazed how it changes your life. I know because I have been through it.

If you think you can afford to wait because you have a secure job at the moment and you are performing very well in your current job. If you think that "The company would take care of you; all you had to do was work hard," I urge you to read "50 and fired" by John Helyar which appeared in FORTUNE Vol 151, N0 10, published on June 13, 2005.

A recent Harris poll indicated 72% of adult Americans are thinking about starting a home-based business.

More and more people are dropping out of the rat race to provide services and/or goods from home. Start part-time and build until they can drop the "day job."

If you are a stay-at-home spouse, or the retired, or house-bound to care for children or parents this is the best option.

And it has even proven to be an excellent (if unexpected) opportunity for hundreds of thousands (ex., the "downsized").

However, this area is fraught with "get rich quick" schemes, so evaluate the opportunities with extra care. Anything that offers to make you rich for no, or low work is a fraud (think about it -- why would they need you?).

Building a real business, no matter what kind of business, requires some work and time to mature. However, if you do put the effort into building something real, you will eventually be able to set your own hours, have more quality time with your family, and skip the morning commute... without the distraction caused by financial pressure.!

What kind of business that can be built in one hour per week? What *IS* the simplest of all business activities?

Be an online inforpreneur, publish information that people want...

And why is it the simplest? --- No products. No customers.

That means no product development. No order-taking. No shipping. No customer support. And so forth.

It is both the simplest of all small business models, requiring the least time, AND it also lays a strong fundation for the future, if and when you are ready to invest more time in your growing enterprise.

How does an online infopreneur make money then?

Let's look at http://www.Anguilla-Beaches.com

The owner of the site is Nori Ken. She put up the site about 2 years ago when she was 15 years old --- at the time when she is busy with her friends, goes to school, does a lot of homework, does band, music, etc, etc.. and has a jammed activity schedule.

She builds a profitable web site and she does DO one page per week! It adds up.

She builds her website based on the concept C-->T-->P-->M (i.e. Content-->Traffic-->PREsell-->Monetize) conceived by her father Ken Evoy M.D., President of SiteSell.com.

First she provides contents about the beautiful Caribbean island of Anguilla. With the contents she was able to attract reasonable amount of visitors to her site. Now she has become a mini-celebrity in Anguilla. Yes, literally. Restaurant owners refuse payment. Her favorite clothing store gives her clothes! She was interviewed by the big local TV talk show. Tourists point at her. One even asked for her autograph!

Merchants of the Anguilla put up ads on her site (money!). She also signed up as affiliates of products (money!) related to her site, such as Amazon.com. She is earning more than $1000 per month from her site. Remember, she is still in high school! (Actually, she had just graduated from high school in June 2005)

Recently she is also making money from Google Adsense.

Who else do you think doesn't have time?

Everyone has time...

It is just a question of stripping away that justification and asking ourselves to take a hard look at our lives, both now and where we are heading... and then PRIORITISING that time.

It's never too late! The Net is still young.

If you choose your niche well, you won't have a lot of strong competition. You will just keep growing and growing.

Man, with all his power, is just like a helpless babe before time. Time ticks away beyong our control! The only thing we can do about time is try to manage it.

Bottom line? "I Don't have the time" is NOT only a reason not to start now! It is quite the reverse... It is the most powerfull reason for you to start now! Immediately! It screams "Get It Started Now Because You'll Never Have The Time"
