Are Successful Entrepreneurs Born or Made?
Entrepre
neurs succeed and fail in business, but they are still
Entrepreneurs. Successful Entrepreneurs acquire certain skills
and knowledge through experience to allow them to succeed more
often than fail. Some inherent talents such as passion,
creativity, determination, drive and the urge to achieve provide
that edge can be learned but have a source perhaps in ones'
psychological makeup.
Just as these characteristics can be found in any profession
they are extremely useful for an Entrepreneur who tends to face
many challenges and requirements to adapt in an ever changing
environment.
"It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the
most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."
Charles Darwin
Entrepreneurs tend to be creative, innovate leaders
Have the ability to recognise an unmet need or a need for
change, and;
Have the nerve to do something about it.
They are team builders of complementary talented people.
They are risk takers,
They recognise their weaknesses as much as their strengths
They seek out complementary talents from others who together
create a perfect team.
They are inspirational leaders, not necessarily competitive but
achievement orientated.
They set personal goals rather than trying to beat anyone.
They have the ability to see, live and breathe the vision and
inspire others to do the same.
