Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts Will Help Army Recruiting Challenges

Over the last year the United States Army has been challenged in meeting their recruiting efforts. Many believe this is due to the media skew on the war and the bias against the reasoning for the war in Iraq. As America watches in horror our fellow citizens in crisis and the wonderful job being done by the armed forces in the rescue efforts, people are starting to see exactly what we are really doing around the world as we remain to re-build these countries after riding them of their tyrannical leaders. Sometimes folks do not understand our mission in the world.

They may not have understood the incredible crisis of the Tsunami in Indonesia, sure they saw it on TV, but had no idea something like that could happen here? They had no idea how our US Military came to the aide of those in need. Well now you know. We all know, what a great job we are doing. It is wonderful in our wealthy nations that we even have the vast amount of resources to deal with these things.

Our Military helps protect our nation from the challenges of the world whether man-made problems or the reality of living on the hostile surface of our planet. Many will be watching the rescuers and heroes in the tragedy with admiration and awe. Now we can all understand our role and mission in places around the world and why you must stay the course and complete the goals of restoring order, safety and infrastructure not only in our Gulf Coastline, but in those other places we are deployed around the world. If that is not a good enough calling or reason to join the United States Army, then one would wonder what reason would be. Think on this.
