Privacy is important to Americans, yet all HIPPA really did was thru more bureaucracy and inefficiency into an already top heavy, over regulated, drowning in paperwork Industry. If you take out a life insurance policy or a long-term health care insurance policy there are now already at least 6 additional pages in every agreement sent out, for HIPPA alone. I suppose the government feels that it helps provide jobs to lawyers and paralegals to make all this minutia, but have they considered the number of trees that have to be cut down and the detriment to our rain forests?
