The Principles of Success - Lay Out A Strategy
"If the wind will not serve, take to the oars." - Latin Proverb
Success is a direct result of planning, and when you plan well
enough, success is inevitable. As a friend once told me, you
have to think strategically to achieve goals, not tactically.
There is a difference between the two. Tactics are small tricks
and techniques you apply to a strategy to achieve goals.
Applying a strategy is exponentially more powerful than solely
applying tactics. Distinguish the difference between your
tactics and your strategy. If you don't have a strategy, stop
where you are and develop one. Then apply the tactics to the
main strategy.
Ask yourself what your main goal is, lay out a plan for
achieving it, and then apply tactics to each step in your plan.
Mindjet.com - this is a wonderful, user-friendly program that
