Political Ringtones

Wayne, Pennsylvania - Think you've heard it all during this political campaign? A Philadelphia firm is now offering John Kerry and George Bush ringtones for your cell phone. Imagine being in the grocery store checkout line and hearing: "I'm George Bush and I approve this message." Or, the more comical message from John Kerry: "We've got better ideas. We've got better plans. We've got better hair." There's over sixty messages in all and most of the MP3 ringtones make fun of the current candidates. Many of the ringtones poke fun at President Bush, but even Ralph Nader gets into the act with one. Of course, when you are making fun of a president's past actions, who can resist a Bill Clinton ringtone? There's also a slew of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger ringtones and for those of you feeling nostalgic, your phone can ring with the dulcet tones of Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, or Al Gore. I'll bet even Al Gore didn't envision political ringtones when he was inventing the internet! Bob Bentz, co-owner of MonsterTones (http://www.monstertones.com/ringtones/voice-ringtones-P.html), said that the political ringtones should probably not be used as a barometer for predicting the eventual winner of the upcoming presidential election. "Bush ringtones are selling better," said Bentz, "but I don't know if that's because more of our customers are voting for him or if more of our customers are interested in making fun of him." Regardless of who wins the election, MonsterTones (http://www.monstertones.com) knows that opportunity is calling as it rings up sales with its political ringtones.
