Holiday on Ice's 'Diamonds' Coming to Exeter's Westpoint
Between the 21st and 26th February 2006 the world renound
Holiday on Ice team will be back in Exeter with their all new
show Diamonds. The new show is a testament to the past, the
present and the future of Holiday on Ice, with over 50 skaters
telling fairytales and stories whilst spinning, twisting and
speeding their way around the ice.
Diamonds is a bold expression of skating and storytelling,
intertwining some the worlds most renound figure skaters with
acrobats and ice skaters from over 25 countries. The show is
doused in amazing special effects and is set to a backdrop of
hits from artists such as Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Robert
Palmer and Shakira. Even some fireworks are included in the set
for the finale.
As ever the costume department has been given a worthy task of
creating everything from pinstripe suits and ball gowns to
underwater creatures, with a series of flamboyant and
breathtaking designs also created for the finale. As well as
that, you will be able to watch as the skaters take part in a
real life game of chess, with more extravagant suits adorned by
all who attend. There will even be a joker on hand to entertain
the crowds.
Diamonds takes place at various times during each day, with 12
