Three Methods to Apply With Reciprocal Link Swapping
Building adequate incoming links to your newly developed website
is a much needed part of website promotion. But what is the best
way to go about it?
There are three main methods to swapping reciprocal links with
other websites, all these methods must involve you swapping
links with sites that have good page ranks and have appropriate
site content related to your website.
METHOD ONE: Manual Searching. The slow approach
One method is to go to each major search engine individually and
search by relevant keywords for your site, visiting each site in
the top 50 and browsing to their links page and add your site
details either via their add link form or contacting them
directly via email.
METHOD TWO: Joining a free link exchange program
The second method involves joining a free link exchange program
which is a website specially made for people to exchange
reciprocal links freely, these webpages can be a valuable source
of finding sites to swap links with. Most of these sites are
free to join with only minor account limitations, which can
easily be upgraded for a small amount of $20 if the free service
is not adequate enough. The the best site free link exchange
program I have found, which I use regularly is LinkMarket found
at www.linkmarket.net; this has an extensive link directory and
is a valuable resource for webmasters.
METHOD THREE: Web Promotion Software.
The third method is to purchase web promotion software, most of
the leading web promotion software have link popularity
improvers to help quicken the finding of adequate reciprocal
links for your websites link page. The only draw back with this
method is that you have to pay for the privilege of using the
software, which can but some people off, but in my opinion the
speed and ease of using these software greatly outweighs the
cost. One such software package I use is IBP 8.1, see my
articles for further information.
These three methods should help build adequate incoming links to
your site and raise your rankings in the search engines, make
sure the link text back to your site contain important keywords
for your site e.g
Your a shoe shop, and your main keyword is 'men shoes', the link
should read
<'href="http://www.freddys-shoes.com">Mens shoes"'
rather than
'href="http://www.freddys-shoes.com">Click Here"'
Conclusion
If you follow just one of these methods this will greatly help
you in your quest for a steady and useful supply of incoming
links to aid in your website promotion.
