PayPal Set up Checklist
With a few simple steps it is possible to customise Paypal for
use with eBay. This guide covers how to customise the templates
available on PayPal.
Automatic Paypal logo Insertion. Inserting the PayPal
logo into your auctions informs buyers that you accept PayPal
which increases their chances of bidding. To turn on automatic
logo go to profile > Auction.
End of Auction email.
This is a customised email sent to buyers at the end of each
auction giving them details of how to pay and allowing you to
promote futher items. Go to Profile > Auction and then click on
the "on" or the "off" on the End of auction email column. Tips
for creating an end of auction email:
-Make sure that the correct user ID is selected and that end of
auction emails are turned on
-In the email body ensure that the buyer knows exactly what they
have to pay including P&P
-Logo insertion. Inserting you logo is a good way of
personalising the PayPal process. Ensure that the logo is
exactly 310 x 90 pixels or PayPal will stretch the logo into
this size.
-Add a link to you eBay shop - this is your chance to promote
your business
