Sun City Las Vegas - For the Golden Folk

Las Vegas real estate, despite what prophets of doom are predicting, continues to boom. Certain regions may not be experiencing a sharp increase in price but overall the demand continues. There are several different kinds of investors in real estate in the Las Vegas region. Young families, vacationers and retirees are the most significant (that doesn't really leave any age group out, does it?) For each of these segments there are specific communities or types of real estate. The vacationer who is investing in Las Vegas may be more likely to pick a condo nearer the strip. However, active senior citizens are serious about relocating here for the popular reasons. Las Vegas retirement communities are not what you might think, just as Las Vegas is not like any other city in the world. Active adult facilities are mini-resorts loaded with amenities like hiking and fitness trails, pools and saunas, tennis courts, golf courses, card rooms, ballrooms and more! There is a host of senior's organizations too. Sun City Summerlin Homes was the first age-restricted community by Del Webb in the Las Vegas. They picked the best possible place for it! Summerlin has been a best selling master planned community in America for over a decade. Sun City Summerlin developed between 1990 and 2000. It covers an expanse of approximately 2,400 acres and has almost 8000 homes from 1,000 to upwards of 3,000 square feet. The main attraction is the three golf courses, Palm Valley, Highland Falls and the Eagle Crest Executive Course. Residents also enjoy fitness, pool and spa facilities and activities of four community centers. Sun City Anthem in Henderson, Nevada is just 20 minutes from McCarran International Airport and the Las Vegas Strip and is a convenient location even if you don't want to relocate here. This is a spectacular age restricted master-planned community that offers outstanding amenities and an active social environment. Sun City Aliante is among the newest active-retirement communities in the Las Vegas valley and is part of the Aliante master planned community in North Las Vegas. Aliante started sales in 2002 and can ultimately house 20,000 residents. The age-restricted community, Sun City Aliante offers seven single story home designs, each with a distinctive style. Sun City Aliante is just the right size, encompassing all the right things. Situated around the fairways of the Aliante golf course, Sun City Aliante has a newly opened resort-style recreation plaza. Other facilities include fitness center, swimming pool, craft and hobby rooms, and tennis and bocce courts. Aliante will be the smallest of the Las Vegas Sun City offerings with just about 2,000 homes. Del Webb's other age restricted project is Sun City MacDonald Ranch Homes with almost 2,500 homes. The community encourages an active lifestyle that includes golf at the Desert Willows Golf and Country Club. True to its name, the course features beautiful willow trees that frame the fairways and greens. In addition, residents enjoy tennis, bocce ball, modern fitness facilities and shimmering pools and spas.
