To do this you simply paste a bit of HTML code supplied by Google into your web pages and Google automatically inserts appropriate adverts directly into your web pages based upon the content that you include within the page. Whenever a visitor clicks on one of these adverts, Google pays you money based on how much the advertiser is willing to pay for each click. This can range from a few cents / pennys all the way up to many dollars / pounds per click. Using Google adwords on your site is an easy way to generate money without having to write adverts or have products to promote. Although you can use Adsense with any web page, there are a lot of factors in making a successful Adsense site, such as choosing good keywords around which to base the content and getting links to your site to build your search engine ranking. The key to it all is traffic. The more visitors you get to your Website the more clicks you are potentially going to get. If you couple this with good ad positioning and styling you can make a serious sum of cash via the Google Adwords System. Putting Adsense on a Website ---------------------------------- You will need to sign up for a free account over at Google for the Adwords program. They will perform a review of your Website and tell you when you have been excepted into the program. Once this has been done you can use Adsense on any Website you like. If you do not currently have a Website, or in truth simply do not know how to make web sites etc you can use Google to find many places online that help you create a Website from scratch or you can buy ready made templates like the ones found at Adsense Ready or Adsense Pages. The advantage of these template packages is that they already have spaces made for inserting Adsense in the best way possible. Additionally they include instructions on how to use them which takes a lot of the guess work away from using Adsense. If you currently have no where to host your web sites (a place to keep them online so people can see them) then you will need to get hosting as well. There are hundreds and thousands of web hosting companies out there. Your current provide of Internet access may even offer free web space with your package. If they do not then a personal recommendation would be Site5 who offer very affordable and reliable space where you can keep as many web sites as you need. STOP!! You can NOT go any further until you have a Website online and Google have reviewed / approved it. Because of the time period Google take to review the sites it would be worth getting something online now and requesting your account. While your new site is being reviewed you can carry on with the customisation and extras. Once you have your hosting, and have made your Website you are ready to start putting Adsense into your pages. If you got one of the template packs made for Adsense mentioned above then you will no doubt be able to skip all this as they make it very easy to set everything up. Otherwise its time to head to the Google Website and read their help files located here https://www.google.com/support/adsense/. How do I get everything set up just right -------------------------------------------- The Adsense help pages are fantastic for informing you on how to put Adsense in your site but they do not really explain the best ways in which to customise the ads and work the content in so you get the most money. It's ok though as there are plenty of places on the net that offer this information such as Google Adsense Secrets - Second Edition which is quite probably the best information you can buy. I use it myself can in the last month or so have increased my Adsense earnings to over $2000 /
