Are You Being Exploited by the Big Wig Marketers?

I was talking with Bryan Kumar this weekend and I mentioned that I wanted to write an article about whether or not, new people on the net are being exploited by the Big Wigs.

He, of course, said, "Go for it."

This is not an unusual response from him. He is fantastic at inspiring people and not putting stops on people's ideas.

If you do not know how important Bryan Kumar is on the internet super highway, he is the author of "Email Marketing Strategies Revealed." And, has helped thousands upon thousands of people on their journey to making money on the web. He was also my first chosen mentor.

When I first realized how the Big Wig Marketers worked, my cognition met no boundaries. I am sure it is the same for you. It is like the knowledge has always been there, yet it lies beneath the surface of your mind, and when it lights up, then you can reflect with the normal, "Now, why didn't I think of that?"

And, then the, "Okay, now that I know, what the heck am I going to do about it?"

My cognition was like this:

I send my visitors to affiliate programs that I am signed up for. What I never realized was I might make $5,00, $10.00 $50.00 commission from sending the visitor to the affiliate program, but because I did not make my visitor my customer first, I lost my customer.

This, of course, led to another conversation with Bryan about losing your visitor to another marketer before they are your customer.

He said, "I wrote an article on that very subject a couple of years ago."

This made me happy as I was going to snag his article and use it. But, alas, it was several articles condensed into sections, which made it not quite right to use the way I wanted to.

However, not wanting you to lose such valuable information I am giving you the meat of what it said through what I gleaned from my twenty minutes of reading, with Bryan's permission, of course.

Here you go:

"You must make your visitor your customer before sending your visitor off to be someone else's customer."

Bryan also stated that when you put a banner up on your web page that leads your visitor off your site to go to an affiliate site where you are hoping to make money from an affiliate program and if you even made a sale, you have just sent your visitor to be someone else's customer.

Think about it.

Big Marketers who are set up with affiliate programs are also set up to cultivate your visitor and turn them into their customer from then on out, while you hold a one time commission or nothing.

You see a sale may not have been made, but the visitor was caught up into signing up for something free and will eventually be introduced to other products by that big wig marketer who has the edge over you. He has the edge because he already knows and is prepared to "grab that visitor."

This edge can be lessened a lot quicker than you think. All you need to do is apply the knowledge that you are getting and put it to work for you.

Bryan's recommendation is to capture your visitor's email and get them on your list before you ever send them to purchase from someone else. Bryan's site is http://www.prodesk.com

Well, back to the original question:

Are You Being Exploited by the Big Wig Marketers?

No. You are not being exploited at all. You are learning, like they learned and those that someday shall affiliate with you, will learn.

I'm just the little bird that is tweeting in your ear,

"Apply what you learn as soon as you can."
