Are You Happy At 7AM On A Monday Morning?
Are There Any Genuine Money Making Opportunities Left??? By
Julie Harrison, jharrisonla2005@yahoo.co.uk
I think the question about us being happy on a monday morning is
one that the majority of us can answer "no" to. Oh yes - Monday
morning.... and there's the full working week to look forward to!
That really was sarcasm by the way. It's horrible the way most
of us have a feeling of dread overcome us from mid-afternoon on
a Sunday, about the working week to come.
I used to be like that - I hated my job and always wanted to
work from home, but could never find anything that was "genuine"
nor suitable. I always ended up out of pocket with the many
scams that I was taken in by.
However, through perseverence I have finally made my dream come
true. I now work a few hours a day and enjoy my life. I know
longer have "weekends" because I can take time off whenever I
like, and I earn a hell of a lot more money than I did in my old
job.
There ARE genuine money making opportunities around on the
internet today, but there are also a hell of a lot of scams, and
it's exceptionally easy to get taken in by them.
So how can you differentiate between something genuine and
a scam?
Personally I think you need to listen to your intuition. As the
old saying goes: "if it seems too good to be true, it probably
is" - but that's easy to say isn't it? How I achieved my dream
wasn't easy I'll admit right now.
I spent thousands of pounds on "get rich quick schemes", "start
up packages", "information guides" and the famous one
liner...."fees to cover administration costs!" Yeah right!
But when you ARE so desperate to earn a better living, and work
from home too, it's easy to get taken in by the sales pitches
these "scamsters" put out.
I used to go on ebay a lot to look for business opportunities. I
was stung so many times!! It's my own fault really as it was up
to me to investigate the "potential" business opportunity
properly, but I always wanted to believe what I was reading was
true, so would part with my cash again and again.
However, one day I came across an ad from someone called Lewis
Attenborough selling a book called "Monthly Returns". I was a
little sceptic at first because of all the scams that run on
ebay all the time, but his ad seemed different. I decided to
purchase it as he offered a money back guarantee if I wasn't
happy which is quite rare and his feedback was good too, so
thought I would just give it a go (I think it was only about
$15.00)
The information it contained made me realise that I would be
quitting my job soon! It was good stuff.
Lewis Attenborough's methods are really simple and yet really
effective at the same time. I remember sitting there thinking
"why hadn't I thought of this myself". He explains how it's easy
to create a product that people will WANT, without spending
thousands on advertising or working non stop for 6 months on
research and development.
I now do what his methods taught me and am extremely thankful.
If it hadn't been for that guide I'd still be doing the 9-5
grind now, and utterly miserable.
So would I say that the thousands that I wasted on the scams
were worth it ? Of course! But I'm saying that because I have
found my dream and have a nice life. What if you're new to all
this and don't have the money to start trying the millions and
millions of "get rich schemes" (scams!)??
Well I would personally suggest Lewis Attenborough's book (I
promise that I am not getting paid to advertise him!) as that's
what enabled me to work from home, but also you need to look for
something that isn't "too good to be true".
When looking for work at home opportunties, take the following
into consideration:
- Does the company/person have contact information?
If not this is a bad sign, why wouldn't they want you to
contact them?
- Are you required to pay for start-up materials?
If it's a small fee and obvious that it covers that person's
administration costs, that doesn't mean it's a scam. I paid for
my life changing guide after all - but if it's an extortionate
amount you are being asked to pay, reconsider!
- Has the company/person done what they are selling?
For example there are many people out there who make a living
out of selling "get rich" ebooks, but haven't made any money
themselves in any other field apart from selling these ebooks!
- Does the person/company claim that they do "all of the work
for you"
- if so , ask yourself why they would do that ?
- Do they claim that you will "earn money while you sleep" or
that "money will roll in automatically?"
- again beware - you HAVE to work to get paid, that is a fact.
Nothing is going to get handed to you on a plate after all.
Remember, the most important thing is to use your common sense
and intuition. Don't fall prey to many of the scams that leave
you with nothing but an empty pocket.
