Some Popular Baby Shower Games
From:babytimeblogware.com
A baby shower is a
party or celebration, normally given by a best friend, close
family member, or co-worker of the mom-to-be, that occurs
several months before the birth of a new baby in which expectant
parents receive gifts or money for their expected child. Games
add real spice and a lot of fun to showers. They are intended to
make everybody occupied in the pursuit of sharing the delight
and elation! Some trendy games which create jingle in the baby
shower event follow and if you're fresh to baby shower games,
just test out these shower games
Name Game: In this event every guest must pick out a
baby name for a boy and girl (if baby's gender is known, make
guests select a first and middle name). Then ask them to write
the names on a piece of paper. Then they are to attempt to
discover words that can be made from the names. Then give them a
certain amount of time (decided by you) to inscribe down as many
words as possible. At the expiry of the time period people total
up the number of words they have and the one who came up with
the most combinations wins.
Play the Child: Some guest at the party might be parents.
So they can be asked to perform the mannerisms and actions of
their kids in the form of mimicry, mono acting, and other
similar actions. But it is important not to force or coax anyone
into playing this game as some people might find it embarrassing
to act out such events in public.
Touch-n-tell What's in the Bag: Buy 10 widespread and
popular baby products (pacifier, teething ring, rattle,
bottle...) and put them in a bag. Pass the bag about to the
guests and provide them about 30 seconds to feel the items. Then
when they pass the bag on further, they write down as many items
as they think they have identified. It is helpful if you can
come up with 2 of each of the 10 items, so that you can pass two
bags around at the same time. The person who identifies the
maximum no of items is the winner. As a bonus, the to-be-mother
gets to keep all the items in the bag!
