Southern California Water Crisis

There is a big concern amongst water experts in California, that the 16.5 Million people have over extended the available water supplies. The issue seems to get critical each year and in drought years super critical. We must figure out a way to get more water and run off from the Colorado River and Mountain Ranges in Northern California. By seeding the clouds this can be accomplished, but that alone is not enough. We could heat up the ocean surface temperatures off the coast of California.

We can also set up desalination plants near the ocean in San Diego to round out this scenario of modification, using either over the border Mexico, Baja California land annexed for that use under a treaty to build the desalination infrastructure in trade for other infrastructure projects built by American companies in Mexico such as schools, roads and sewer treatment plants for a few cities.

Then Colorado River will not have the burden of having to supply water to the massive growth of San Bernardino, Riverside in San Diego counties. Instead it will only need to supply the water to Phoenix, Tucson, Lake Havasu City, Yuma and Kingman, Arizona and of course Southern Nevada including Laughlin and the greater Las Vegas area. Additionally pipelines can be built by Bechtel to round out the balance and allow the political structure to move the ball forward. This will solve all the problems with growth in Phoenix, Southern California and Las Vegas, which are some of the fastest-growing areas in the entire nation. Think on this.
