Professional Politicans Will Burn This Article -- Then Kill The Author

It's not all doom and gloom in this world of ours, though it seems like it sometimes when you experience too much cable tv or broadcast news.

Actually, there is a lot to be thankful for in this loving world. But there is doom and gloom. There are those people who organize to separate regular-folks from their hard earned income, from their freedoms, from possessions, from their self-respect, from opportunities, from their loved ones, their birthrights, and even their very right to take a breath of air and sustain life. I didn't make it this way, it comes about by the greed and possessivness of individuals who want what you have and yet do not understand, or even sense, the selfish and destructive nature of their course feelings and actions. Thugs. Where you least expect them.

Nor can I fix it. For instance, I cannot make it so national leaders don't misuse their media attention to promote their latest conspiracy to gain advantage. Or prevent them to benefit from large donations from drug manufacturers or petroleum refiners, even as those leaders explain away, with use of government facts and figures or by way of committee, why cost for those items to Americans keep going up. I can't stop a person in a trusted and respected position of power and national influence from talking about how they are bringing about peace, while they propogate war; and how the cost of that war enriches their close friends and their past business associates who now provide unbidded service contracts that directly relate to the costs of that war -- a war that is suppose to be about peace. My training was different than that. I was trained to say what you mean, not what you want people to think. Then, follow that up with action that is fair and reasonable and goes to the heart of the work. From what I observe, there are national leaders who say one thing when there is a large audience -- as if it were an opportunity to hypnotize lemmings -- but, whose results oppose the words they utter in the throes of the public media. And the media itself moves much too fast to report on that phenonema.

It's not all doom and gloom in this world. But there is doom and gloom, and much of it is proceeded by professional politicians in pursuit of their goals, growth of their governments. The more that becomes true, the more we should consider our options. Maybe it's time to remove professional politicians from the operations of our nation. Return those powers to regular people. After all, it's regular people who really make this country run day-by-day and pay its bills. We don't seem to be doing too bad a business. Maybe it's time we looked behind the curtain. See who's running the show. Who is pulling the strings. See if we can't do better by reorganizing. Big and small businesses alike reorganize all the time to improve their performance and results. Maybe we Americans could do a better job of running this country with non-professional politicians who speak plainly and mean what they say, and work to benefit all Americans, not just connected Americans; rather than trust our future with those who pursue their greed and possessivness privately, and do not understand, or even sense, the selfish and destructive nature of their course feelings and actions, and the hardships their political actions visit upon us, the regular folks, the underpinning of their empires.

Like I observe, it's not all doom and gloom. And, there is a lot to be thankful for in this loving world. But, professional politicians are just not a part of that 'thankful' item list, in my opinion. Doesn't matter what country they come from.
