Alligators with Double-jointed Jaws

One way species evolve is out of necessity and a genetic flaw, which turns out to be an advantage. We have all heard of frogs with extra legs, cats with extra paws and two-headed lizards. We have heard of people who are double jointed. Certainly there must have been double-jointed jawed alligators sometime in the evolutionary process of their 400 million years of progression.
