England Championship derbies on Monday
Ipswich-Preston
Last season both team played key role in the Championship, but at the end neither teams could be promoted into the Premiership.
The new season started very well for Ipswich, the team is on the 6th. We can not say the same about Preston, which is only on the 17th place, the balance 1-2-2.
On Saturdy Ipswich won away, meanwhile Preston was not able to win at home against the mediocre Brighton.
My bet is home win
England, the Championship. No time to relax, after Saturday's round the teams are fighting again on Monday! This match will be the crown, as will be played in the evening.
Coventry 1-2-2, the 15th place. Defeat on Saturday against very good Sheffield United.
Southampton 3-1-1, the 5th place, on Saturday victory at home against weak Crewe.
A defender will be missing from Coventry, Southampton will play with almost the same team, as on Saturday.
In theory Southampton perhaps a slight favourite, I do not share this view, I do think that Southampton sooner or later will lose its momentum and become a mediocre team, the immediate promotion back only a dream. Sooner or later, perhaps this match will be the first sign that Southampton is not so good.
My bet is HOME win.
