Evacuation of the Florida Keys Hurricane Wilma

The question remains will Wilma cut a hard right turn to take out the Florida Keys? The reason we ask is that the Labor Day Hurricane of 1935 also took a chunk out of the Florida Keys and it to was a Category Five Hurricane. The Labor Day Hurricane of 1935 was the second most powerful Hurricane which was passed over by and bumped to the third most powerful Hurricane, which bumped Hurricane Rita to the forth position and Hurricane Katrina to number six most powerful. Additionally the now second most powerful hurricane which was the number one Hurricane before Hurricane Wilma taking that first place slot, Hurricane Gilbert did also go North from where Wilma is now back in 1988 but went to the left.

Is Hurricane Wilma strong enough to power and cut through the other interacting weather fronts and instead of hooking to the right, move the other system up and fight with them? Maybe if it does it could hit in Tampa Bay instead of the Florida Keys?
