Twelve hours before Super Hurricane Wilma made he first landfall in Cozumel and 100,000 people in Western Cuba had already evacuated. Flooding Cuba via Hurricane Wilma seemed to have been something those living in Western Cuba took seriously. Hurricane Wilma will continue and as it slows over the Yucatan any land within 400 nautical miles will receive a deluge of Floods and deaths will rise. Over 250,000 additional people are going to evacuate the most western areas of the island.

Killer Hurricane Wilma had already flooded many parts of Belize, Yucatan Peninsula and Western Cuba prior to landfall. She killed some 13 people before she hit Mexico. Her winds were over 150 mph before the strike on the Tourist area. Cuba has used this information to alert all of its citizens. Western portions of the Island have already suffered through Dennis and Rita this year. This made the land flooded with mudslides due to the flooding waters. Even Havana is on alert and may evacuate some folks. The torrential rains have already started in Cuba and they expect four more days of this and another 200,000 more evacuees within the next 24-hours.
