What do you call someone who fails to head the warning of a mandatory Hurricane Evacuation? Well it seems inappropriate to call them a victim, as they are willfully risking reality, life and limb. If they are new reporters they stay. If they do not make it for being ill-informed, a thrill seeker or simply stupid, then they are a statistic.

A Hurricanr, therefore would be a new word I wish to coin for anyone staying behind whether it be a storm chaser, Hurricane Hunter, news reporter, thrill seeker or simply someone who refuses to leave and takes their lives into their own hands. We must call these people
