Tropical Depression Number 26 Forms

Tropical Depression number 26 has now formed off the coast of Nicaragua and it is fairly large as it extends from the Northeast Coast border of Nicaragua and Honduras down to the Southwest border of Costa Rica and Nicaragua. It is expected to form into a Tropical Storm within the next 24-hours and that will make it Tropical Storm Beta if it does. It could also form into a tropical storm and move West across Central America into the Pacific where it would then have to be renamed as Pacific Storms have different names.

Another possibility and not one anyone wants to think about is that it will grown larger and move Northeast and start its journey into the Gulf of Mexico where in that case it will become Hurricane Beta somewhere along the way and round out one heck of an October month for tropical storms.

Meanwhile as tropical storm Beta decides if it will form we have two other possible tropical depressions, which are forming and will be labeled Tropical depression 27 and tropical depression 28. And they two could end up Tropical Storms Gamma and Tropical Storm Delta as we plunge deeper and deeper into the Greek Alphabet. Think on this.
