Tropical Storm Alpha Borderline Hurricane Killed 26

Can you believe a tropical storm can kill so many people? Tropical Storm Alpha only an almost borderline Hurricane killed 26 in Haiti due to the massive flooding. This before the storm raced up to marry Super Hurricane Wilma and take a Honeymoon to the Northeast to finish off their extensive flooding problems by trapping a cold front up there.

Haiti had twenty-six deaths while the Dominican Republic had 5 die from the storm and both nations are still completely flooded. Alpha of course was the 22nd named storm of the 2005 Atlantic Hurricane season which was the record breaker for the most storms in one year and that forced us into the Greek alphabet named storms.

In the Dominican Republic the folks died when an over flowing river washed them away, because they did not run fast enough to get out of the way in Puerto Plata. In Haiti there were hundreds and hundreds of homes destroyed and damaged as tropical storm Alpha devastated and deluged the area. Indeed these areas where flooded before Alpha and are still flooded as Tropical Depressions 27 and 28 form into Tropical Storms Delta and Gamma. For Haiti and the Dominican Republic they know they are nowhere through the woods yet as they still have five more weeks of these high-energy tropical storms this season. Think on this.
