Have you noticed as they region you live has grown up that droughts seem to come more often? They seem to be calling for water shortages and drastic conservation measures almost every year. Have you asked yourself why this is? Why is it that we have water shortages all over our nation every year? Is it Global Warming of the Planet or Climate Change? The temperatures are not really that much warming on average each year, some summers are hotter than others by our Almanac shows that? We often seem to have larger swings but over really there is not much difference say over a ten to twenty year span. Most of what we see now is really explainable by normal cycles and weather trends.

The real problem is that humans are using too much water and they are wasting the water supplies. The over watering of Golf Course is an issue, but so is the urban sprawl, which some say uses less water than farming per acre, yet that farming has to take place somewhere and generally uses the same over all supplies even if it relocates somewhere else in the region. We must always conserve water, whether there is a water shortage or not. Wasting supplies of any type takes very little effort, as any one can waste, it takes no brainpower at all. We should all use our brains and have strategies around the home and at work to conserve water the best we can, as it is the best for all concerned, including you. Think on this and you will be glad you did.
