Devils LLC went 2-3 last week and saw its lead in the Las Vegas Hilton SuperContest chopped to a single game over Maximillion and Foolish, Tormented and Blessed.

The leader has 35 1/2 points and the second-place pair 34 1/2.

SuperContestants anted $1,500 per entry and pick five NFL games weekly against a pointspread that's posted on Tuesday. They get one point for a win and a half-point for a push.

The 2005 pro campaign will end on New Year's Day.

The consensus line went 8-6 to climb to 69-61-2 on the year. Outright victories by underdogs Green Bay, Minnesota and Dallas on Monday night were among the weekend's bigger surprises.

Fifteen players had 5-0 Week 11 slates, three had 0-5 cards and 14 did not submit entries.

Among Professional Handicappers League entrants, Mike Lineback had the best week with a 5-0 and has 26 points, but the joint entry of Brian Gabrielle and Lynda Collins (3-2 last week) still paces the pack with 29 points, which is in the top 10% of the field.

Big Al McMordie was 2-3 while Big Al No. 2 was 4-1. Both have 27 points. So does Vegasvic (David Rice), who was 4-1.

Tursini Sports was 4-1 in Week 11 and Bryan Leonard was 3-2. They have 22 points apiece.

The Hilton champion will receive $303,000. Twenty contestants -- about five percent of the 505 entrants -- will cash.
