1 Corinthians 16:9 (King James Version)
"For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries."
There is an open door set before everyone in Christ Jesus!
It is a door that is opened, and no man can shut it!
It is opened despite of a person's dull and ugly past!
It is a door that is great and effectual!
It is the door of destiny!
It is opened into a bright and colorful future!
This door that links a person and the fulfillment of divine destiny!
Associated with it are many adversaries.
Some adversaries are seen,and others are unseen.
Some come in the guise of friends,and others come in their true colours!
Some seem to work singly,and others seem to work in groups.
Some work to prevent a person from seeing this door.
Others work to prevent a person from passing through the door.
Others work to frustrate anyone who passes through the door.
These are the enemies of destiny!
They are headed by mankind's arch-enemy,the devil(Rev 12:9).
All the negative thoughts in a person are allies of these adversaries!
These allies work against any person's destiny!
These allies should be firmly dealt with as prescribed by God's word(2 Cor.10:3-6).
They should be casted down from the place of control in the human mind!
The human mind is the battleground where wars are won or lost in the noble pursuit of divine destiny!
When any person is in Christ,he/she becomes a new creature(2 Cor.5:17) and he/she receives God's grace to think positive thoughts(Philippians 4:8).
Positive thoughts are friends of destiny!
They are downloaded from the mind of Christ(1 Cor.2:16) into the Christian's mind which becomes renewed(Rom. 12:2).
This process takes in the realm of the Spirit in various ways.
It could happen during private or public worship(John 4:23-24).
It also occurs as one reads the bible or listens to the word of God through others using various media like the radio,television,books,magazines,tracts,and the Internet(Heb. 4:12-13).
On contact with the adversaries,one does not need to press the 'panic' button(2 Kings 6:15).
One should receive the opening of one's inner eyes to see the heavenly hosts on one's side(2 Kings 6:16-17).
What attracts the heavenly hosts to one's side?
It is the presence of the Lord himself(Matt. 28:20)-the Lord mighty in battle(Psalm 24:8)!
And God dwells in his people's praises(Psalm 22:3)!!!
Remember that the battle is always the Lord's(1 Sam 17:47)!
The victory has already been won on calvary(Col.2:15)!!!
This victory belongs to every Christian(1 Cor.15:57).
In the light of this victory,any Christian can effectively use the authority given by Christ(Luke 10:19) to confront and overcome any adversary!
All authority in heaven and on earth is given to Jesus Christ(Matt.28:18)!!!
Revelation 3:8 (King James Version)
"I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."
Please note that it is only in Christ that anyone can find the door of destiny,and defeat whatever adversaries associated with it!
Therefore everyone needs to be in Christ so as to fulfill destiny!
To be in Christ,a person needs to repent of one's sins,and believe in Jesus Christ as one's personal Lord and Saviour(Acts 20:21).
