I hear that the Scottish countryside is full of statues to William Wallace, the subject of the movie Braveheart. There are statues to Widukind (A German hero from approx 1000 years ago) all over Germany. There is a statue of Paul Revere in Boston.

For all reasons, throughout history sinners, saints, good guys and bad have had statues erected to them.

But no one has ever erected a statue to a critic, understand.
