Tropical Hurricane Storm Zeta; A New Years Surprise?

Just when you thought the Horrific Record Breaking 2005 Tropical Hurricane Season was over, now we have Tropical Storm Zeta. (Zay-tah). Will it ever end? Will Zeta be the last? Could there be more? How is this happening? Well you are not the only one asking these questions. Meteorologists are equally intrigued indeed.

Tropical Storm Zeta is moving West-North West in the Atlantic and probably will not touch land. If you will recall Hurricane Epsilon also did not threaten land and extended the 2005 Tropical Hurricane Season for one week. Are we going to now call the 2005 Tropical Hurricane Season; the season, which just would no quit at is attempts to get into the 2006 New Years Spotlight? Apparently we still have some warm ocean surface temperatures out there heating things up, which is making it favorable for Tropical Storm Formation.

Is it possible that Tropical Storm Zeta will become a Hurricane and blow away any sense of normalcy or reality to what we think we know about Tropical Hurricane Seasons? Are we entering a new era of Wild and Wacky Weather where anything goes; what gives? Why won
