North Korea needs an export to fund their nation, but they kind of fancy selling arms and making weapons and even selling nuclear warheads as a high profit industry. Of course that idea is a no-go and headed off into a no fly zone for sure.

I believe we should offer to buy Ethanol from North Korea rather than oil from the Middle East and North Korea once up refineries and corn fields can export this to other nations in their region as well, without stacking up huge trade debts with their neighboring Japan, China and South Korea. By having North Korea able to make ethanol we can supply the growing human need for oil which is expanding due to China and India coming online in world markets for larger and larger percentages of the current supply. If the world price goes too high most modern civilization will stagnate due to the rising costs of oil and thus the entire world economy will be affected. Consider out of the box options and non-linear thinking with regards to supply and demand issues in the future. So, consider this in 2006.
