Healing with the Mind of Faith

What I'm about to say about healing is not to be taken as medical advice or substituted for the advice of your physician. Always seek sound medical advice for any health problems. My purpose is just to give you something to think about, something to entertain your thoughts for a while! Now that that's all cleared up let's get to it!

Heal: means to make sound or whole. Restore to health. To cause an undesirable condition to be overcome. (Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary)

It's habitual for most of us, when we see a sick relative or friend; to focus on how bad their current condition is rather than focusing on an image of their condition improving! But those of us who believe that we can be affected mentally and verbally by the thoughts of others envision them as improving in health until they're completely well again!

By the same process if we're too focused on the physical reality of the disease and the current condition of the person we may unknowingly reinforce that person's condition! We see them getting worst instead of better (especially if they have Cancer or some other disease that frightens us). We may even envision them dying! Not that you can cause them to die! It
