The Target Market in 2006 - Are You Ready for It?

Ho-hum. Another year has almost come and gone and I'm sure you are looking forward to a nice break over the festive season.

Well, if anything, this is the time to project forward and think about what markets you should be hitting in 2006.

Sure, the USA has about 250,000,000 people waiting and willing to buy from you and Australia (another Westernised country) has similar tastes to the USA (albeit Australia's population is about 1/10th of the USA) but what if I were to tell you that there are two countries that are bursting to consume Western products and services and pay what it takes to have them.

Here's a little hint.

Until about 5 years ago they were arguably considered "second-world" countries with economies that, at best, could be described as challenging.

English is spoken in both countries and their citizens work all over the world.

I'm talking about ...

... wait for it ...

China and India!

The populations of both countries dwarf that of the USA and Australia and younger generation in each country have grown-up having full university educations and living with capitalism (to a certain extent) so their lifestyles can integrate well with those of a fully-Western society.

Indeed, the economic circumstances of both countries are increasingly boding well for the future and for those hom-based businesses that want to cash-in on the future should be structuring themselves to build supply-lines and business relationships with these countries.

With the information technology experience that these countries' younger generation have, forming future relationships is a must.

A quick surf of the net can yield literally dozens of starting points if you need a contact in these countries and for the sake of an email which can take 2 minutes, the benefits to your business could be enormous.

Take 30 minutes now and start searching ... it could literally be the biggest step you take for 2006!
