Adolph Hitler's NAZI Army and Crystal Meth Use on the Job

Adolph Hitler was said to have instructed the use of Meth for his soldiers during World War II to give them a leg up on the enemy. Indeed it makes sense that Hitler wanted to use substances to enhance his soldiers, their readiness and abilities. He wanted them alert and ready for battle.

Just like an athlete may wish to steroids. But indeed there are long term affects of these drugs and we are already seeing 35 year olds having heart attacks due to previous meth use, quite frankly it will over whelm our health care system if this continues into the future. Some say that meth should be legalized as we are making criminals out of all the teenagers in America.

Yet legalizing crystal meth is a nightmare scenario. And I realize that the US Military has a synthesized drug to keep troops and pilots alert longer in times of extreme exhaustion or war when they cannot sleep. The euphoria, which comes with such drugs maybe well and good for the personal sensation of the worker on the job, but to condone the use of drugs while on the job is incomprehensible. In fact it is irresponsible, unless under extreme conditions such as wartime, where you cannot sleep or the enemy will kill you, then it is life or death either way, drugs being the temporary lesser of two evils in that case. For anyone to say that we should legalize meth, well they must be on it themselves. Consider this in 2006.
