How To Find Your Purpose In Life: Who Am I?

Who am I?

That isn't a question you should be asking me. I know who I am, I'm Andy Cho the boy who was raised in Ohio and born in Tennessee. I'm a person who has extraordinary dreams and confidence in my ability to succeed in life.

Now I turn the question over to you. Who are you? You my friend are a fluid concept. You bought those clothes you're wearing, you control the way you act, and you are who you make yourself out to be. We can have this identity crisis and ask ourselves who we are our whole lives and never truly know the answer to that question. It isn't a lost cause, but you might think it is. It will only be a lost cause if you ask yourself that question your entire life instead of doing something about it.

Ask yourself this: Am I living a purpose driven life? If you are, GREAT! If not, then I suggest you find a purpose in life. Find a dream or a goal; something to keep you busy and thinking. Mark my words: There is no point in living if you don't have a dream for yourself.

That doesn't mean you should go and jump off a bridge because you're depressed about the idea that your life is going nowhere. It just means that you need to step up to the plate and play the game. There will always be times when you strike out, but you can't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

Each individual has something special about them, harness that power and use it. Just as the quote states; "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" or a lemon pie for that matter. Life is not bad; you yourself control your own life, right? Listen carefully: You live your life ONCE.....so live it GREATLY!

So how do you do that? Do some soul searching, whether it is out camping or inside the confines of your home. Figure out what you like, what you don't like, your fears and joys, your hobbies and talents. If you feel that you do not have any sort of talent or skill in anything, then it is never too late to create one.

You, as an individual, need to step out of your comfort zone and experience new boundaries, creating an even wider horizon for yourself. So instead of just sitting there waiting for something to come to you, get up and move around. Go for a walk, interact with people, and put yourself out there. The fact of the matter is that if you have this never-ending desire to find out your existence, then you will put forth the effort to do so.

Along with your ambition to better yourself physically, while you are here why not mentally and spiritually strengthen yourself as well? You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Remember this, without a dream you will feel like nothing but an empty shell.

Create in yourself something pure you can be content with, not something that society wants of you. Find yourself first. Fill that empty shell and be proud of yourself, and live a fulfilling life. Don't always rely on others for answers because THEY are not YOU. The only person who can answer any type of question about you is yourself. Set yourself free from the chains of the unknown. Isn't it about time for you to truly and passionately live your life? So get out there and love your life, and live your dream. Although I do not know you personally, I do know that there is something so incredible sleeping inside of you just waiting for you to knock it upside the head with a 2x4. Wake it up, and truly live the life that you were meant to live.
