Bored? Read on ...

Lately I've been bored with the crazy world of internet marketing, going from forum to forum and climbing the walls. I was checking some top sites on Alexa and ran into a small site called myspace.com which was being ranked in the top ten.

At first it looked like where a bunch of rock bands were showing off their music videos but I soon found that it has a membership of over 62 million. What I found amusing about it is that it has profiles of celebrities and people like George Bush next to Mick Jaggar and Britney Spears next to everyday ordinary people like you and me. Within a week I was getting messages from Paul McCartney trying to promote a t-shirt in the middle of the night to Paris Hilton lamenting over the quality of her emails.

They don't allow advertising on the site as it would be considered spam but I found making friends on myspace.com to be an interesting diversion away from all the technicalities of internet marketing.

So if you are looking for a way to find celebrities or even people within 10 miles of where you live, it's different, interesting, and it sure beats working on my website. At least for a while, anyways.
