The meaning and experience around Menopause has been wrongly promoted as a milestone in the female life associated with the end of an era, the end of a season. The true meaning allows a far more positive and exciting future.

A series of signposts of major and minor significance based around the natural, the mental and the spiritual provide a collection names making up the process of a life.

A milestone is always associated with the completion through personal experience of each personal battle from any of the well known signposts. The season spent in acquiring the victory or the achievement would always have been clouded in a varying array of related challenges. These would be forgotten once the victory became a milestone and opened the door to a better future.

The first job notes the beginning of the financial or professional signposts whilst the appointment to a much sought after job could be seen as a milestone if the study has been long, the competition fierce and the title or task of the job matched to a long and strong focus.

Menopause is an experience for all females. It is a natural process with a gigantic list of experiences within a time frame and age bracket. It is, for most of us a signpost on the way to a milestone.

Even those who may have had long, difficult, challenging and unique experiences requiring medication, operations and counseling hindering them from a new life with a fresh start may interpret it as signpost on the way to greater things.
