Liberal Arguments and Their Choice of Verifications

As a skeptic in many regards I have had the opportunity to debate with many folks on a variety of subjects; some conservative, some liberal and some libertarians. One thing that totally amazes me is how liberals when confronted with an issue will pull some article they read out of some obscure place or give you a link on the Internet to a report confirming their belief and you guest it always an ultra-liberal organization which swears their data is correct and all the other studies everywhere else in the world are wrong.

Recently in an online think tank this happened again. A liberal biased individual discussing an issue in Africa sent me via a link to an article to confirm his point and stated that this article basically says it all. I told the individual that article is so damn biased in fact it hardly belongs on a Think Tank website. It complained of the corporations selling chemicals for the starvation of Africans.

I said the article is obviously born of anti-corporation bias. In fact the Corporations of the World are the ones who have the money to fix these problems. But DDT was outlawed and everyone attacks the philanthropic Entrepreneurs with the answers and what does Bono say at Davos? He is teaming up with Corporations to fix the problems. Liberals cannot have it both ways.

You cannot attack corporations on one hand and spew anti-one world policies and then turn around and ask for help. The fact that you put this link up speaks volumes of your attitude and academic displacement. In all my years of doing as an entrepreneur I have learned one thing. Those who can't; Teach.

On one hand academia and liberals attack Bill Gates and call him the Devil himself and who is it that just happens to have given more back to humankind, especially Africans than any other single individual in human history? Bill and Melinda Gates, that
