Iraq Must Work Out Problems

Philosophically thinking it is hard to find common ground to sit down and talk, when you are literally world's apart. But of course that does not mean it is not possible. Separate but equal never works, no matter if it is in a Science Fiction Flick or in reality. Until we integrate and understand, it is not going to happen without the friction of multi-dimensional rubbing and the firestorm it creates.

But of all the pain, heat and fire that comes new stars are also born. And a new chance too. If we look towards the end goal and agree then we are half way there. One bothersome dilemma is indeed the issue with the mass media hysteria blowing out of proportion every little event along the way. That is not to say that they are not eventful, but rather perhaps in the over all scheme of things not so dire or climactic. Additionally there is just too much political posturing on both sides. Here due to a division over Blue and Red states and there over the loss of power of Cleric Rule or power over the people.

Then there is the Sunni, Kurds and Shiites issues. If both sides are fractionalized and the parties trying to negotiate are at odds [calling themselves them vs. us] and the media is fueling it to the benefit of the players on any given day, it kind of makes rational thought and cultural exchange difficult. Meanwhile the wind blows and the polls change and everyone is caught in the river's flow neither wishing to try to make the trip across to unite in that common cause we all seek. Too bad really. Could I do better? Yes, actually I believe I could. How about you? Consider this in 2006.
