At this point you must know what needs they cover, prices, ways of selling, warranties, payment and delivery. Analyzing all this information you will find the right positioning for the product you want to sell, and what is necessary to deliver on that positioning

3. Competition.
Not only their names are important. More important is what they do. You must analyze their companies too to get a profound understanding regarding forces of competitors in your industry, their objectives, attitudes and capabilities.

4. Tactics and Strategies.
This point means to know how to reach your potential customers, how to advertise correctly in order to communicate with them (via email, letters, etc).This way, you will be able to know better how to sell your product.
