The theater opened in Gatlinburg in 1977, and now stands as one of the most recognized theatre for being the most innovative and unusual professional theater companies in the country. Recently, Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre was proclaimed a National Historical Treasure by the city of Gatlinburg.

The diverse shows at Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre is an experience you will never forget. Two completely different shows are presented each season and are alternated nightly. Showtime is at 8:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays when the show will be "Once Upon a Trunk," an original musical comedy about a janitor who opens an old trunk only to discover that the trunk is home to a troop of actors from the golden age of Vaudeville. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays the show will be "Random Acts of Silliness" a review show with songs, dances, and comedy routines, including some brand new magic from our very own Great Stupino!
