Beware The Fear of Man

The process that allows you to achieve your goals really is a simple one. Your lot in life really is to experience and enjoy abundance in every area of your life with minimal (physical) effort on your part.

I can hear you asking now: 'yeah well if that's true, why do I struggle to achieve my goals?'

There are several possible reasons for this, but the one I want to address in this article is a common, often insiduous one, called 'The Fear of Man'. This fear manifests itself in many ways.

See if you can relate to *any* of the following:

- You have a great idea but you don't share it with anyone because you are concerned that they won't think it's worth going for.

- You are supposed to call prospects for your business on the phone but you don't because you don't want to be 'rejected'.

- You are scared to profess your faith in God because of 'what others will think about you'.

- You care about the impression you make on others more than you care about doing what's right.

- You are in network marketing but are afraid to tell your friends because you don't want them to think of you as being 'one of those people'.

- You tell a lie because you're afraid of what might happen to you if you are honest. Eg you fear you may lose friends, customers, etc.

The list of examples could go on and on, and I'm sure you could add several examples here yourself.

The point is this: these examples have one common underlying cause: 'The Fear of Man'. This is a condition where your concern about what others may say about you or think about you influences your actions.

Like other fears, this one is deadly because it is a sure-fire blocker on the path to your achieving your goals.

And really it has one antidote: Walk in love towards God, yourself and towards others. Notice that 'walking in love' implies taking positive action, and action is a sure fire way to overcome any fear.

Walking in love towards God means you obey what He says you should do, which can be summarized thus: Love God with all your might, mind, strength and Love your fellow man as yourself.

I teach a lot about The Universal Laws. God put them in place, and if you walk in harmony with them, you're obeying His laws - they guarantee that you can achieve your goals with minimal (physical) effort. My favorite book for studying these laws is the Bible, as you may have guessed by now. Why? Because the stuff in there works. Because any thinking individual who reads it and does what it says will prove for him/herself that the information in it is as relevant and practical today as it's always been.

Walking in love towards yourself means that you repsect yourself and your ideas. You don't look down on yourself and you refuse to be put down by anyone else. You are proud to be you. You know you are worth it.

You are comfortable in your own skin. And it shows. What others think is their problem. It doesn't affect you because you refuse to let it affect you. You set a desire and, as long as it is good and appropriate, you get to work on making it come to pass. You believe in yourself. You know you've got what it takes. And you succeed because you expect to.

Walking in love towards others means you relate to everyone you meet in the best possible way (the way you'd like to be treated) and do so without expecting anything back from them.

That's the essence of being detached - you don't expect anything back from the other person, so you're not devastated or disappointed by their response however they respond to you.

If you walk in love towards someone, you really do want what's best for them. When this is your underlying mindset, what's there to be afraid of? If they say 'no' to your offer, that's fantastic because you've done your part (by letting them know what's available to meet their need). If they say 'yes', that's fantastic too.

When this is your mindset, you have nothing to hide, so need to cower behind lies and all sorts of falsehood. You walk in confidence wherever you are. You are free to make friends and build relationships without any hidden agenda and ulterior motive.

By doing this, you position yourself to attract your desires and manifest your goals. You will notice that the main effort you need to exert in this exercise is mental. That's why the physical/outward effort appears minimal and in some cases, effortless.

Beware the fear of man. No fellow human being is worth standing between you and your goal. So do what this article says and defeat this monster for good.
