Some Believe it Would Be Better if the US Fails in Iraq

Did you know that there are actually some Americans out there from academia who believe that the United States of America would be better off to lose the war in Iraq and fall on its face in worldly humiliation? These folks actually believe that if the United States fails to complete its mission for a free Iraq and falls on its face that it would teach the United States a valuable lesson. Why do they say this?

Are they un-American or are they simply abusing their right of free speech? Well, they say that if the United States does well in Iraq that it will start to believe that it can run the world for the next few decades. Then as India and China come online has emerging superpowers there will be severe conflicts as United States tries to dictate how those countries are run. The same academia professors and supposed learned men say that the international terrorists in the United States government in the industrial military complex have a symbiotic relationship going in the need each other. They say this is not healthy and our current track is a dead end.

I would beg to differ with academia on this subject for a couple of reasons; one issue cannot negotiate with terrorists, nor can you talk sense into fundamental radical regimes or large populaces who are led by fundamental clerics which conveniently twist the religion in their favor in order to maintain their power base.

Additionally I think it is rather silly to assume that the U.S. standby while radical regimes like those which now control by Iran sponsor international terrorists organizations, wall simultaneously developing nuclear weapons. To think that our nation would standby and allow that to happen is simply unthinkable and we cannot sit around and wait till international terrorists organizations have atom bombs to use on civilian populations in order to serve their radical fundamentalists political will upon the Western world. Consider this in 2006.
