4 8 15 16 23 42 Better Than the Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code is one of the most popular codes ever produced and one of the most controversial Books and Movies of our modern period. However on the ABC Lost Series Television Show another number has popped up out of the blue; 4 8 15 16 23 42 and it too remains a mystery to this day and no one will tell a soul the true answer. Some are using tricky mathematics and super computers to answer the problem, could this tell us the answer or is it something more? It may be a very tricky math problem indeed.

But on a non-mathematical layman's theory of interest if you take the numbers as a sequence phone number you end up in NJ at a PR Firm, which is named 79, which are also the only two numbers not in the sequence, so who knows what the answer is, as no one has even given us a question yet? Never the less I have created plausible but deniable scenarios worthy of mention and it is a good exercise in thinking and better than a late night radio mystery theatre or a Sherlock Homes Book. Using a mathematical scenario I came up with several thoughts only to be shot down by know-it-all mathematicians stating;
