Is FEMA Ready for Hurricane Season?

The ocean surface temperatures are seeing out in the Gulf Coast and the Gulf of Mexico, as well as the Caribbean and along the United States Eastern Seaboard. Soon the winds will start blowing and usher in the 2006 Atlantic tropical hurricane season.

It seems like just yesterday when the final hurricane rang in the New Year in a very long and record-breaking 2005 Atlantic tropical hurricane season. Is America are ready for another record-breaking tropical hurricane season? Well, one would suppose that we darn well better get ready because ready or not here she comes.

The citizens of the Caribbean, Central America and the United States of America may or may not be ready that remains to be seen. The big question is; is FEMA ready for hurricane season? FEMA says she is ready and the President of the United States of America has promised that FEMA will be ready this time for whatever Mother Nature throws our way.

Besides high gasoline prices due to supply issues from hurricanes hitting the Gulf Coast, what else can we expect? Well, meteorologists, weather researchers and the top climate scientists in the world are predicting another devastating and destructive tropical hurricane season. FEMA may be ready, but I sure am not. Consider this in 2006.
