Ode To A Tree

Look here, look there,
An object which I envy so much
For its strenghth to stand there the whole day
Looking at its creator
Dancing with the wind.

A minute an hour, a month, and a year have passed
But still it stands proudly
A storm have passed and there came another
But still it stands straight
Giving me a wonderful feeling.

Thou I admit
I would like to be like it
To prove that
I am also as strong
Like the ones I envy so much.

Thou this thing is not made for death, my immortal tree!
No hungry generation tread thee down,
The voice I heard everytime I pass by
Pleading not to kill them
And care for them instead.

Today I say my farewell to the trees I envy so much
For I can't have another chance to see
Its arms dancing in the wind
For I will rest and never to wake up;
GOODBYE MY LOVELY TREE!
