The colors will be different in various hospitals; this is not the rule in every hospital and in every setting where doctors are found.

Buying online is going to save you money. The big difference is in buying power. Because the local retailer can only purchase so many at a time, for budget reasons, the prices are going to be higher. The online retailer is serving many areas, even many countries at the same time, so their buying power is higher and you pay less in the long run.
